Do you have a team that is having trouble understanding Agile Work? Is there a team in your organization that needs to adopt Agile Work? Or perhaps there is a team that needs a little coaching to acheive the ultimate in high-performance delivery.
As a manager, your concern is the delivery of results valuable to the organization, and to do that you rely on your teams. Agile Work implementation assistance and coaching for teams takes you to the next level of results by having one of our experienced expert coaches work closely with the team to:
- Deliver Training: provide initial training for your team on Agile Work principles, practices, benefits and pitfalls. We use a powerful combination of simulation, case studies, discussion, lecture, workshops and modeling to ensure high levels of knowledge retention, practical exploration of your concerns and questions and the initial stages of practice working in an agile team. This training can be introductory or in-depth.
- Lead by Example: we do the work of facilitating your agile process so that you can see it done properly. We facilitate critical meetings in the early stages of agile adoption, help your organization overcome common obstacles, and guide a team through the Agile Work process.
- Assist the Apprentice: we do the work with you so that you can practice agile processes with strong, mature, expert guidance. Weekly mini-assessments help guide the apprentice based on strengths and areas for improvement.
- Assess the Implementation: we assess you doing the work on your own under the watchful (and helpful) eye of our coach.
- Reflect, Learn and Plan: we help you learn from your experience so far and plan your next steps.
Our coaches also:
- provide one-on-one capability building with individuals on the team
- develop and deliver customized training modules for areas of team or organizational weakness
- consult with management about team performance improvements
Our coaching experience has shown us that the most effective engagement model is for our coach to work with your team on a 1:4 ratio of direct coaching time to independent team work time, although this does depend on the experience of the team and the complexity of the work enviroment. Therefore, a typical engagement with your organization will have a coach assigned to your team for 2 days out of every two weeks.
This "touchpoint" coaching model allows your team to explore agile methods on their own for the most effective learning in a cost-effective manner.
