Agile Work methods promise early, continuous and accelerating return on investment for stakeholders and high degrees of job satisfaction for team members. In this one-day interactive workshop, you will learn the basic principles and practices of Agile Work. The workshop format allows you to experience Agile Work at a practical level, not just in a theoretical way. This workshop is for people who would like to try out Agile Work to see if they can gain some quick wins in effectiveness and efficiency. It is also the first day of the more intensive training programs for Agile Work Process Facilitators, Team Members and Queue Masters.

About The Trainer, Mishkin Berteig

Mishkin Berteig is a seasoned agile coach and instructor with 10 years of experience with agile methods. He has worked with clients such as CapitalOne, Siemens and Telus as well as numerous smaller organizations. Mishkin is principle contributor to Agile Advice.

Course Details

Duration: 1 day from 8:30am to 5:30pm

Breaks: 3 coffee breaks of 10 minutes and 1 lunch break of 60 minutes

Class Size: <30 people (offered both publicly and as a private in-house course)

Prerequisites: A short set of readings and a copy of the course materials will be provided to attendees five business days prior to the course. Attendees will be expected to read these materials. As well, all attendees will be expected to successfully complete a short online quiz in order to be granted admission to the course. The quiz will be open-book and based upon the readings and course materials.
