The ScrumMaster Training Interactive Case Study

Explaining Scrum to Jeremy's Boss

You explain briefly what you know: short Sprints to deliver working software, feedback, self-organizing teams, daily Scrums. You try to explain without using the Scrum jargon. Sanjiv seems only mildly interested.

Sanjiv says, "hmm... I'll have to check with Jeremy about this. It seems like it might cause problems with our engineering process. Thanks for telling me about it."

He glances at his laptop. You're clearly dismissed. You thank him for his time and get out.

You're a bit worried you might have just made a big mistake. Maybe Jeremy wasn't doing Scrum with Sanjiv's knowledge.
